“Illinois Needs You Now” Mission Illinois Offering and Week of Prayer will be September 9-16.  Our church goal is $1,000.00.  Please begin praying as to how you can support this need in our state.  To date we’ve collected $337.00!

ConneXion Groups will study Exodus 5 the week of Sept 24-30.

Mascoutah Fall Festival & Chili Cook-off will be on Saturday, October 20th from 10:00am – 4:00pm.  We will have a booth at the festival.  Contact Shelby Wilson with any questions.  The sign-up sheet is on the clipboard near the Nursery.  This is a great outreach opportunity!

Men’s Breakfast – Open to men of all ages!  We will meet at Cracker Barrel in Shiloh Saturday, September 29th  at 8:00am.  Tim Seaney would like to know if you will be attending no later than Thursday, September 27th .

“Engaging Our Mission Field” is the theme for the annual MEBA meeting on Sunday, October 7th.  The meeting will be held at Calvary Church, 1509 Melmar Dr., Sparta, IL.  See hallway clipboard for more details.

September Operation Christmas Child idea is puzzles and games for indoor or outdoor use. Reminder…all puzzles and games must fit inside the shoebox!

Oasis Community Meals – FBC Mascoutah will be hosting free dinners to the residents of Mascoutah on the fourth Thursdays of September, October, and December and the fifth Thursday of November.  ConneXion Groups will be hosting these meals as we seek to serve the community.  See Debbie Witty with questions or if you’d like to help with this ministry.  Our next meal is Thursday, September 27!

Monthly Hymn Service – Join us the 1st Sunday of every month when we will worship the Lord by singing the historic hymns of our faith. On these Sundays we will sing as a church family and be accompanied by piano rather than our usual praise band.

Lighthouse Preschool registration is still open! Informational flyers are available in the Preschool hallway rack. Registration packets are available in the church office and online at fbcmascouatah.org

Bible App is another exciting option to follow Pastor’s sermon live no matter where you are. There will be a quick demo this morning. Be sure you have your app downloaded!
