We Serve A Great God!

 In September of 2002 the church put together a Missions of Growth Committee to get a grip on the vision God was giving to His church.  The congregation was surveyed on a multitude of topics; church health surveys were performed, and church growth was reviewed.  In late 2004 the committee brought to the church a mission statement, vision statement, core values statement and the need to seriously start looking for land.

In early 2005 the church established a land search committee.  They served tirelessly until September 25, 2006 when the church purchased 48 acres, just out side the present city limits of Mascoutah on State Highway 177.

Following the purchase the land search committee was disbanded and the church established the Building Steering Committee.  Click here to find out the latest information from the Building Steering Committee.  It will be their job to lead the church in the mission of building a new facility on the property.

Ephesians 3:19-21  And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. [20] Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, [21] Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Below are some pictures of the property.  With the exception of the picture of the sign (which is in the middle of the southern end next to the highway), all pictures are taken from the extreme northwest corner.  The first picture is taken looking at the southwest corner and they pan from west to east.  As you look at these pictures please pray that God will give wisdom, direction and funds for this huge undertaking.  It is a God sized task.  It will either happen to His glory or it will not happen at all.  But our God has not brought us this far to leave us now!
