At First Baptist Church of Mascoutah (FBCM), we want you to experience God through authentic worship and biblical lessons in the comfort of a casual inviting atmosphere. Come discover a community where you can grow and thrive. Whether this is your first time at FBCM, or your first time visiting a church, we’re saving a seat for you.

If you are ever in the area, we hope you will visit us in person at our 10:45AM worship service or watch our Service online. We believe you will find us to be a loving and very friendly church: a place where you and your family can serve and minister in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We are located at the corner of 9th & W Main St, in Mascoutah, Illinois

(about five miles southeast of Scott Air Force Base).

What time does it start?

Our Sunday School ConneXion Groups begin at 9:15 AM, Worship Service begins on Sunday mornings at 10:45 AM.

Which door should I go in?

Our doors on Main Street, or Preschool Door "C," nearest the play area on the West side of the building, or the office door "D" on the Church Street side are open prior to church. After the service begins, you would need to enter through door "D." A greeter will be there to welcome you and answer your questions.

Does it matter what I wear?

Come dressed as you feel comfortable. There are people of all styles and ages at FBCM who just enjoy being together.

What should I expect when I get there?

FBCM has a warm, casual atmosphere. We have volunteers to greet you and welcome you at the door. Don’t hesitate to ask questions. You will feel welcomed without feeling any pressure or obligation.

What happens with my kids?

We have age-appropriate ConneXion groups for children on Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 10:30 AM. During our worship service, a nursery is available.

What will the worship service be like?

The music is a blend of contemporary and traditional hymns that focuses us on glorifying God. The preaching is always Bible-based, relevant, and encouraging.

Will I be asked to give money?

We do not expect our first-time guests to give. Our members and regular attenders give because it honors God and sustains FBCM’s ministry. We have online giving available on this website.
